This [[https://geodynamics.org/cig/images/cider.ova|VirtualBox Image]] is 2.4GB.  Download it onto the laptop you are going to use for the tutorial.

=== Importing the CIDER tutorial image ===

  - Install VirtualBox, download virtualbox (URL above) and follow [[https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch02.html|the directions]]
  - Run VirtualBox.
  - Select from the menu "Import appliance": {{:software:aspect:screenshot_from_2015-06-19_19_55_07.png?nolink|}}
  - Select the downloaded cider.ova image:{{:software:aspect:screenshot_from_2015-06-19_19_57_23.png?nolink |}}
